Terms of Service

Terms for using Fictivus manufacturing inquiry services.

These terms describe how Fictivus receives manufacturing inquiries, reviews project information, and communicates with qualified business buyers. The site is intended for B2B evaluation of additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and related custom manufacturing support. Any quote, lead time, material recommendation, or manufacturability comment is based on the information submitted by the buyer and may change after drawings, tolerances, inspection requirements, destination, or production quantities are clarified.

Project information

You are responsible for submitting accurate files, drawings, quantities, revision levels, and acceptance requirements. If a drawing conflicts with a CAD file, or if a tolerance is unclear, Fictivus may request clarification before a quote can be treated as production-ready. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share.

Quotes and orders

Preliminary pricing is provided for evaluation and planning. It is not a binding manufacturing commitment until scope, payment, compliance requirements, and supplier capacity are confirmed in writing. Changes to material, finish, inspection, export requirements, or delivery location may change price and lead time.

Use of the site

You agree not to misuse the inquiry forms, upload malicious files, attempt to interfere with site operation, or submit requests for prohibited products. Fictivus may decline requests that appear unsafe, incomplete, outside the service scope, or inconsistent with applicable law.

Manufacturing responsibility

You remain responsible for confirming that submitted specifications match the end use of the part. This includes checking drawings, revisions, mating interfaces, regulatory obligations, export restrictions, and any internal quality requirements before authorizing production. If a project requires special handling, controlled documents, serialization, first article inspection, or customer-specific packaging, those requirements must be disclosed before the order is accepted.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the files and technical information you submit. By sending a request, you permit Fictivus and its authorized service providers to use that information as needed to evaluate manufacturability, prepare communication, and support the requested manufacturing discussion. You represent that you have the right to submit the information and that doing so does not violate another party's rights or confidentiality restrictions.

Limitation

Manufacturing guidance is provided to support business decisions, not to replace your internal engineering approval, regulatory review, or final product validation. Your team remains responsible for determining whether a manufactured part is suitable for its intended use.
